Born ca. 1735, and died 15 December 1821 aged 86. Buried at Brinkhill 18 Dec 1821, ‘aged 87’. Seems to have been a farmer at Brinkhill; redeemed land tax there in 1799. Brother of John Grant of Oxcombe.
Married at Harrington, 22 May 1759 (the day before his brother got married), to Mary Keep. She was born ca. 1728 and died 1778. Buried at Brinkhill 26 Dec 1778.

Married secondly at Markby, 6 May 1779, to Ann Bray. She was described as a widow, and he as a ‘farmer of Brinkhill’. She was born Ann Coney ca. 1737, and was married firstly on 5 June 1765 at Great Carlton, Lincolnshire, to John Bray. They had six children before he died at Markby in 1776. She was buried at Brinkhill on 6 November 1820, ‘aged 83’.
